Glass doors for handbags. Special drawers for jewelry. Valet rods for outfits.
Nice to have? Sure.
Necessary? I wasn’t convinced.
But over the years, after seeing how people actually live with these spaces, my perspective has changed. A well-designed closet doesn’t just organize your things. It changes how you use them.
In a lot of cases, it helps you finally enjoy what you already own.
It Starts With the Little Things
Think about how most closets look on a busy day. Clothes end up draped over a chair. Maybe something gets dropped on the floor. Outfits get rushed together in the morning.

A Recent Project in Audubon, PA
We recently worked with a homeowner in Audubon who was dealing with a common problem. Their entryway looked fine at first glance, but it didn’t really function well. Shoes would end up near the door in piles, and since there wasn’t a clear place for them, everything just sort of collected in the same spot each day.
We added a simple shelving unit along the wall to give those everyday items a home. Nothing complicated, just clean, open shelving that made it easy to see and grab what you need on the way in or out.
